Hi kids! This page is filled with ideas of things
you can do when you stay at our cabins or
campground. And we've also provided you with
lots of links to games, puzzles, and other cool
stuff about the outdoors that you can do at
home or print to bring with you. If there's
something you'd like to see added to this page,
please let us know.
We'll do our best to keep this page updated with new links and current contests and we might even have a few contests of our own so be sure to check back often.

We're so excited to tell you about
ArdPark and to share it with you.
Even kids who don't like being in
the outdoors love it here! ArdPark
doesn't have too many rules for
kids. We just want you to mind
your parents, know and obey the
Litter Pledge, be good to the
animals and the outdoors and
have the best time of your life!
One thing we don't do at ArdPark is watch TV. It's boring compared to the real fun you'll have here!

There are lots of trails in the
national forest where you can
take a walk or ride a bike. There is
a cave there too! There are rivers
and creeks to go swimming, catch
tadpoles and minnows and maybe
do a little fishing. You can gather
sticks and branches from the
ground to build a campfire. You
can play in the hose. If you pick
up all of your trash, you can even
have a water balloon fight! If you
bring it along, boys and girls can
play frisbee, pitch some ball
or just kick back
and do nothing
at all!
The girls might
want to hoola
hoop or maybe
jump some
rope, as long as
they brought
their stuff along,
we sure do hope!
If you stay
at a cabin,
there are
always
board games to play and a new
deck of cards. When you get done
with those, take a run in the yard.
Think how much fun it will be to
catch a frog or a lizard or a turtle
or two. Just remember they
probably can't go home with you.
If you have friends or siblings along,
you can play tag or hide and go seek
and tell ghost stories at night before
you go to sleep. You can be silly like
me and dance in the river or out in
the yard. Whatever you do, just
PLAY REAL HARD!
