Your safety is very important to us. Please take a moment to give yourself at least a general idea
of how and where medical attention can be obtained during your visit at our cabins or
campground. Have a plan. We genuinely hope that you will never need it, and maybe we're
overly cautious after a dear friend needed it a few years ago, but as they say, "better safe than
sorry."

Large hospitals are far from the area but the Steelville Ambulance Service is prompt to respond
to 911 calls. Helicopters are also quick to appear in the field to transport severely injured or ill
patients to a major St. Louis hospital. However, cell phones often do not pick up a signal and
our facilities do not have land lines.

For your convenience, all hospital information below is provided in our cabins.

The hospital nearest ArdPark is Washington County Memorial. This hospital is a government
owned, critical access hospital with 25 beds. It is not a trauma center but does have a heliport.

Directions: Highway 8 East to the 4-way intersection in Potosi. At the 4-way light, turn right onto
Highway 21. Drive about a block and turn left into parking lot.

Directions: Highway 8 West straight through Steelville. Highway 8 becomes Highway 19. Merge onto Highway 44
East. Take Exit 225 toward MO-185 Sullivan and turn right. Turn right onto South Service Road West. Turn left onto
Highway D. Turn right onto Sappington Bridge Road.

Directions: Highway Y to Highway 8. Turn left on Highway 8. Immediately outside of Steelville, turn left to continue
on Highway 8. Highway 8 becomes Highway 68. Follow Highway 68 and merge onto Highway 44 West via the ramp
on the left. Take the MO-E exit (exit 185) toward Rolla. Make a sharp left onto MO-E (Nagagami Road). Turn right
onto Poole Avenue. Go right onto W. 10th Street.
