It has been said that spending time in the outdoors enjoying the company of family and friends
can enrich and improve our lives.

Time spent in the country--outside or indoors--is truly something special. The country offers
everyone year round opportunities to pursue special interests, develop a new interest or simply
rest, relax and renew.

There are so many places to go and things to do at ArdPark and very near our cabins and
campground. Recreation opportunities are seemingly endless and include something for
everyone. Cyclists will find several mountain biking trails, hunters and trappers have countless
venues and there is an abundance of places to fish and gig. Guests can enjoy boating on the
Meramec River, canoeing, rafting, tubing or kayaking on the Huzzah or Courtois Creeks and the
Meramec River or spend a day visiting the many antique shops in the area. Several golf courses
are nearby, there are museums, historic sites, birds and wildlife to watch or photograph and
places to ride your ATV or dirt bike. Visitors can hike and horseback ride numerous trails, you
can collect rocks at the rivers and creeks, pick wild berries, play cards or a game, enjoy live music
or take in a comedy show. There's paintball and parks, caves to tour and explore, stars to gaze,
places to target shoot, lots of water to swim in and wineries to visit. Guests can hunt for ghosts, go
bowling, watch go-kart and car races or take in a flea market, garage sale or drive in movie.
Whatever your pleasure, you will find satisfying, enjoyable things to do at and around our cabins
and campground.
