The Jonas-Day-Lark Museum 319 W. Many of the antiques in the museum belonged to the families that lived in the home. Open Memorial Day through Labor Day on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. and admission is free. Fort Leonard Wood Museum - features a collection of World War II barracks and history about General Leonard Wood. U.S. Army Chemical Corps Museum - in addition to many documents and hundreds of photographs, this museum holds more than 6,000 artifacts from World War II to today. |

Vistors can enjoy 2 museums in one stop at Maramec Spring Park. Admission to the museums is free. A nominal entry fee into the park may apply. The Maramec Museum features cultural and natural history exhibits and a 500 gallon aquarium at it's entrance. Natural habitat wildlife displays and a video of the spring's cave are included. The history of the Massey Iron Works is demonstrated with working models and displays. The Massey Iron Works was the first successful iron works west of the Mississippi River and operated here from 1826 to 1876. The Agriculture Museum holds an impressive collection of farm equipment dating back as far as the early 1800s. The James Foundation, manager of Maramec Spring Park, offers tours of the Meramec River Rearing Facility and spring, as well as naturalist-led programs. |

Stonehenge at University of Missouri U.S. Highway 63 & St. Patrick's Lane Rolla, Missouri 65401 (573) 341-4111 Distance from Cabins and Campground - 54 minutes (46 miles) The Stonehenge project was completed in 1984 and incorporates many of the features of the original. It also includes two capabilities that the original did not. Visitors will see sunrises and sunsets during summer, winter solstice and spring and fall equinox. In addition to its astronomy features, it serves as a monument to man's achievements through its blending of cultural and scientific influences. In 1984 the Missouri University of Science and Technology received an Outstanding Engineering Achievement Award for its Stonehenge model. |
