If you're staying as a guest at our private campground, the Courtois Cabana, you can fish directly
off the property in the Courtois Creek. Just gather your gear and walk a few feet to the river. We
won't say the fishing there is spectacular, but there are some sunfish, bass and a sucker fish or two.
Wherever you go to fish, state regulations always apply and you will need a valid fishing license
and trout permit if applicable. Fishing licenses and bait can be purchased at the local general stores
or click here to purchase permits online. A copy of the current fishing regulations are provided in
both cabins and are accessible online at Missouri Department of Conservation. Special regulations
may apply to certain areas or species.
