Whether you are an ATV enthusiast or a casual dirt bike rider, we understand that both are
enjoyable sports. Your safety is our first concern. Emergency medical assistance is quite far from
ArdPark. And then there's those pesky insurance standards that prohibit you from riding your
ATV, dirt bike or other off road vehicle on our land. But don't fret just yet.
We realize that time spent in the country without your ATV or dirt bike is unthinkable. You are
welcome to bring your off road "toys" to ArdPark for riding elsewhere. There are many options in
the area that we hope will please you.
Be aware that state law prohibits riding ATVs and dirt bikes on public roads unless the rider has a
county permit or meets certain other provisions.
ArdPark assumes no responsibility for theft, loss or damage of any ATV, dirt bike or other off road vehicle
that you may bring to ArdPark. You are strongly encouraged to secure your valuable possessions.
If you bring your ATV or dirt bike to ArdPark, we ask that you please keep them off of the grass. Guests
should also please refer to our ATV & Motorcycle Policy.
In counties that issue or sell permits to ride ATVs you can ride within that county on county roads and on forest
service roads that are designated on the Motor Vehicle Use Map as "Open to Highway Legal Vehicles." Riders
must also abide by Missouri State Motor Vehicle regulations. ArdPark is located in Crawford County (National
Forest Eastern Region 9) where permits are available. For permit and other information, contact the national forest's
Rolla office at (573) 364-4621.
